October review

The start of October sticking to my plan I hope this month to start research on the topics which I selected in September. My EPQ is going well so far. September was successful and I hope to carry on my productivity through October and the following months to complete my EPQ. The end of October, I have just completed my 2nd blog post on population and popularity of the idea to move to Portugal. I have been finding sources of secondary information and have started a source sheet where I site them and access the validity and reliability of each source I'm up to 3 sources as of the end of this month.

Exciting news about the next step

Exciting news about the next step  My parents have been in Portugal for the last 2 weeks they have been property hunting and exploring the availability of land and services around each area that an estate agent showed them. This was our next step in relocating to Portugal. Travel during this Covid period was difficult - they needed a PCR test within 24 hours of their flight which they got in the airport. They left from Manchester and landed in central Lisbon got a hire car and travelled to the round house in village Medelim near Penamacor in the camera of Idania Nova where they stayed. To buy land in Portugal as an immigrant you need a NIF number, To gain a NIF number you simply need to visit a finance office and bring along your passport and proof of address (such as bank statements or utility bills). Once acquired the NIF number, the next step is too visit the real estate agent.
