Unemployment rate. The average unemployment rate from the past 6
months has been 6.7%. this figure has gone down since February of 2013, where it
reached a high of 18.1% unemployment. During the Covid pandemic unemployment
rate didn’t seen to make a sky rocket like it did in most of Europe such as England
Italy and Spain. It actually seemed to boost the economy due to people
holidaying to more rural areas to avoid the risk of Covid 19 from heavily
populated areas.
